Gingivectomy & gingivoplasty: dental laser is used to reshape your gum tissue around your teeth to remove gum diseases or for asthetic purpose.

Lasers are used in dentistry in many ways to provide safe and effective treatments to patients. Dental lasers can be used to perform soft tissue procedures such as gingivectomy & gingivoplasty, crown lengthening, hemostasis & coagulation, and treatment of canker sores, herpetic & aphthous ulcers of the oral musoca. Moreover, it can be used to provide periodontal procedures such as sulcular debridement to improve periodontal health including probe depth and tooth mobility.

Dental lasers require less or no anesthesia which means you do not need to worry about getting your lips numbed, and it causes less pain because of reduced use of the drill. Lasers enable dentists to provide more precise and accurate treatments resulting in less bleeding and swelling on surrounding area.
